Customizable Workshops

If you prefer not to start from scratch, you may choose from one of the following 2005 training offerings. You always have the option to custom tailor any of the following trainings to meet your needs.

1. Effective Communication

This program explores the essentials of effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication. For example, how do we ensure that a message sent is the same message received? How do our beliefs influence what we hear and choose to focus on in a conversation? How can our body language speak louder than our words? These topics and others are covered in-depth, while communication models are explored, and hands-on activities are presented to support learning and aid in retention.

2. Everyday Teambuilding

Why do most teambuilding programs only happen once or twice a year? This program is designed to help maximize the benefits of teambuilding by making it a part of your everyday routine. Participants will learn to use simple processing techniques to turn everyday cooperative tasks into perfect teachable moments.

3. Staff Challenge

Staff Challenge engages your staff in the most exciting and thought-provoking cooperative activities LearningChange has to offer. This half or full-day program is perfect for new summer staff orientation or the beginning of the school year. Designed to bring your staff together, this program creates meaningful dialogue and rallies your team around a common cause.

4. Creative Recreation Leadership, Programming & Activity Training

Participants will learn how to incorporate stylistically diverse activities, and to effectively plan and sequence them to engage the members of their youth program. Participants will also walk away with a wealth of new rainy-day activities, age appropriate activities, cooperative problem-solving activities, alternative sports and games and behavior and group management techniques.
